“Optimisation is something we have wanted to do for a while, but it was Google’s announced support for mobile configured websites that made us take action,” explains Marketing Executive Anita Bemrose. “We have been working hard on content for the website for a while and visitor numbers have been growing, but the fact that people could not view it properly on a mobile or tablet meant that we will have been losing a lot of traffic.
“The rebuild has coincided with a move to a new design agency. Moving forward we will now start developing the site further, which will involve a fresh new look in the New Year to help the visitor journey. This will be supported by other digital activity which is currently being planned for 2016.”
