We are delighted to have recently funded a further workshop, run by UK charity Champion Chanzige, in Tanzania. This is the second year we have provided much-needed support to this fantastic outreach project, and the first year that both boys and girls have been involved.
The team continues to teach the youngsters numerous life skills as they approach adulthood, including how to make their own reusable sanitary protection with our superabsorbent fabrics. These finished products will withstand regular washing and drying and allow the young women to continue with their education during menstruation.
It is great to see the sewing machines we also purchased for the charity being put to good use during the session.
