ENVIRONMENTAL

Our commitment to the environment is a fundamental business requirement.
We engage with all stakeholders to prevent harm to people and the environment and continue to review and improve our processes and operations to deliver a safer, healthier and more sustainable business. This is underpinned by ongoing product innovation to drive the future development of more environmentally responsible products with the aim of delivering a more sustainable future throughout the product life cycle.

We communicate this commitment to the Environment via our SHE Policy and challenge all employees to report and take ownership for environmental near misses and hazards.

ISO 14001

We have held our ISO 14001 certification continuously for over 20 years. This is the framework that our Environmental Management Systems (EMS) is based on and audited to on an ongoing basis. Our EMS ensures that we not only conform to all statutory legislation in this area, but also is aligned to our own and shareholder expectations. We operate in compliance with an environmental permit (EPR/RP3632NX) under the UK Environmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2016, regulated through the Environment Agency. Current version is ISO 14001: 2015
