Browse our range of absorbent Needle Punch (Needlefelt) Nonwoven Fabrics below. These highly absorbent, felt-like fabrics – containing our Super Absorbent Fibre (SAF™) – can be used as the absorbent core in hygiene sanitary products, such as period and incontinence pads and pants.
Our Absorbent Needle Punch Nonwovens have been designed and manufactured by our team of experts to produce extremely high levels of absorbency and retention – even under load. We can also manufacture without our Super Absorbent Fibres if absorbency isn’t a key requirement.
Needle Punch Nonwoven Fabric (also referred to as Needlefelt) is exactly that – fabric that is bonded together by needling. This form of bonding provides a great deal of flexibility and, as a result, such fabrics can be designed to offer high levels of strength and integrity or to be soft and very loosely bonded.
We have our own Needle Punch Nonwoven Line and can manufacture fabrics at relatively small MOQ’s, at a range of weights between 100-1,000gsm. If you require absorbency, up to 80% SAF™ content can be achieved. Laminates and other finishes are also possible.
Our Needle Punch materials are supplied direct by us or one of our trusted global tolling partners. They are sold on rolls at widths of up to 2.0m and can be slit narrower if required. We have a large selection of Needle Punch Nonwoven Fabrics readily available to sample, and can develop bespoke Needle Punch materials if required.
