Technical Absorbents is a leading supplier and manufacturer of super absorbent fabrics, fibres and yarns for a wide range of applications. These technical textiles are truly super absorbent and designed to capture and retain aqueous liquids – even under load.

Our catalogue of highly absorbent materials, including nonwoven Airlaid, Needlepunch, Thermobond and woven Net fabrics, are all designed to provide the highest levels of absorbency and retention.

In addition to a large range of single-use absorbent fabrics, which are perfectly suited to the medical, hygiene, food packaging and filtration industries, we have also developed a hardwearing and unique Washable super absorbent fabric that can be fully laundered and  which makes it ideal for reusable period and incontinence pads and pants.

Our super absorbent materials are already used in a wide range of applications from absorbent food pads and wound dressings, to oil filters and water-blocking geomembranes. They are supplied direct by us or one of our trusted global tolling partners and sold on rolls at widths of up to 2m – rolls can be slit narrower if required. 

A wide range of off-the-shelf solutions are readily available and bespoke super absorbent fabric can also be produced to meet specific requirements.
