SAF™ = Super Absorbent Fibre (not powder!)

Superabsorbents are engineered to provide elevated levels of absorption and retention, i.e. to be super absorbent and hold onto it. This makes them ideal for use in products that are designed to contain fluids. 

 SAF™ and SAF™ absorbent fabrics and yarns are capable of rapidly absorbing up to 200 times their own weight in water and retaining it under load. We supply these into numerous industries for a many different superabsorbent products/applications.  

Our team works closely with customers during every step of the development process, from initial enquiry/brief – which often starts with: ‘I’m looking for an absorbent fabric’ – to end product delivery, ensuring our superabsorbent solutions perform as required. We are happy to work on development projects under an NDA if bespoke solutions are required. 

We used to think it would be great to share customer testimonials and detailed case studies. If only our customers would promote that they use SAF™ in their products. However, we soon realised that not having these actually reflects the true value of our technology – why would customers want to share with their competitors the secret behind their products amazing absorbency.
